Hamish Lyon / NHArchitecture

Having made a significant contribution to major projects and public spaces over the last two decades, Hamish Lyon is one of the nation’s most respected architects.

Hamish believes modern design is no longer the domain of the architect with a single vision, and his open, responsive approach to architecture values collaboration and partnerships.

During his career, Hamish’s diverse range of projects have helped to shape our cities, particularly Melbourne. He has received several prestigious awards, including the Robin Boyd Medal, awarded under the chairmanship of the pre-eminent Australian architect, Glenn Murcutt.

Hamish is also active in the role of teaching and speaking on issues of public architecture and public space, and presents his ideas and research at a number of public forums.
