New Space Architectural and Urban Design practice was established in 2003. Its founding director Kevin Sim, previously a director with the Singapore arm of Nikken Sekkei Partnership, was partner-in-charge of Xintiandi conservation project in Shanghai, China.
New Space is a boutique practice offering clients highly personalised service. Our staff from different cultural, educational and professional backgrounds combine in exploring new paradigms on every project they undertake, always with aesthetic and economic aspects in mind. The Practice has built up a varied portfolio of mixed developments consisting of private housing, commercial buildings, hotels and resorts as well as urban design and masterplanning for townships. New Space has received SS ISO 9001:2000 certification in 2008 in recognition of Quality management for Architectural Practice.
