Pitman Tozer Architects


Pitman Tozer Architects is a small practice in West London with a mixture of projects on the go – from private houses and public housing to commercial and community projects. Pitman Tozer Architects has expertise in designing and building low energy buildings that don't make a song and dance about it.

Pitman Tozer Architects was established by Tim Pitman and Luke Tozer in 2002. Tim and Luke met as students in 1989 and have collaborated ever since.

Tim Pitman (Director)
Tim combines practice with part time teaching at Cardiff University. He has previously taught at the University of Westminster and the University of the West of England.

He studied at the University of Cambridge and the Mackintosh School of Architecture, in Glasgow and became a registered Architect and member of the RIBA in 2000.

Luke Tozer (Director)
Luke gained experience designing and using low energy technologies in building his own house. He has a keen interest in planning and housing and is co chair of the RIBA London Design Planning and Policy Group and an active member of the RIBA Housing Group. Luke served as an RIBA national councilor 2004-07.

He also studied at the University of Cambridge and the Mackintosh School of Architecture, in Glasgow and became a registered Architect and member of the RIBA in 1999.
