Kieron Gait Architects is a Brisbane based practice established in 2008 The practice undertakes work diverse in its scale, context and culture. We look at each project’s unique
circumstance to generate an individual architectural response, free from pre-conceived styles and fashions. The work is underpinned by a sensibility of materials, construction and placemaking that seeks to express
the timeless fundamentals of Architecture – Space, Light and Material. We look for a sense of calm and restraint
in spaces which suggest rather than prescribe how to occupy them. Each client brief is distilled to enable a clear conceptual strategy to emerge – an overriding ambition for the
project that is refined and reinforced throughout the design, documentation and construction process to deliver
a clear and refined outcome. We bring the same level of commitment and intensity to every project however large or small and work closely
and collaboratively with each client to realise and exceed their ambitions. Kieron Gait is a registered Architect with ten years of professional experience in Australia. He has been involved
with a broad range of projects both in previous employment and as principal of Kieron Gait Architects. Typologies
range from single residences through resort design to large mixed use development. He has been involved in a
number of award winning projects, including Balmoral Residence, winner of the Hayes and Scott award for Small Project Architecture at the 2010 AIA Queensland state awards. Kieron Gait Architects is an A+ Member of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects
