Renske Papavoine
Graduating from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2003, Renske Papavoine wins the KICI price for her “Potten” that same year. After her studies Renske Papavoine moves to Barcelona, the city that captures her heart. In the Catalan capital Renske Papavoine becomes part of a team of product designers at the leading spanish design studio of Emiliana Design Studio. Over a span of 4 years Renske Papavoine collaborates with Ana Mir and Emili Padros on a variety of (international) designprojects.
In 2005 Ana Mir and Renske are asked to become visiting lecturers at Elisava Escola Superior de Disseny, the design academy of Barcelona.
Here Renske Papavoine takes great pleasure at sharing her aquired knowledge. Renske Papavoine discovers how fullfilling it is to let young people discover their strength and accompany them in their creative procceses.
Meanwhile others have discovered her prizewinning “Potten” and Renske Papavoine embarks on a collaboration with Nanimarquina, a company that produces and markets exclusive rugs globaly. The big moment comes in 2007 when her “Potten” are introduced on the FIM Valencia and the Salone del Mobile in Milan.
In spite of her great love for Barcelona, Renske Papavoine longs back to her homeland of Holland.
In 2007 Renske Papavoine decides to move back. With her Catalan heart her Dutch sobriety and a fresh new look she starts to works on new concepts and designs.
From her studio in Eindhoven Renske Papavoine continues to work on her line of “Potten” and freelance projects for her Spanish clients.
Renske Papavoine focuses mainly on producing creative concepts, productdesign and development, styling and colour coördination.
