Clare Cousins Architecture

Clare Cousins Architecture and Interior Design is a Melbourne-based architecture and interior design practice established in 2005. The practice seeks to engage in a wide range of projects from one-off designs for homes and retail boutiques, to large-scale fitouts and pro bono work. Over the past five years, Clare Cousins Architecture has completed more than 200 projects, at least half of which have been interior-focused. Context and materiality are a strong source of inspiration, and we offer a unique response to each project in close collaboration with our clients. Underpinning our creative strategies is a demonstrative commitment to sustainability, longevity and value, recognised not only by clients but also industry awards and media interest. Clare Cousins Architecture has a strong belief that good design should be available to everyone and the practice actively seeks to support the wider community by working for services such as the Architect’s Bushfire Home Service, or being involved in the Australian Institute of Architects Women’s Mentoring Program.
