DESYPHER has evolved to become a leading firm in the provision of socially and environmentally responsible projects. We provide niche design services that focus on community beneficial projects, such as community or multi-purpose halls, multi faith facilities, spiritual centres, educational and institutional facilities and public space designs. Earlier works included the establishment of Dedicated Islamic Prayer Spaces at the University of Melbourne (2009 and 1998) and RMIT University (2007 and 2000) – all of which brought contemporary architectural solutions together with the specific requirements of Muslim students and staff whilst serving the social charter and marketing criteria of both universities. More recent works have explored ways to deliver benefits to the wider community. For example: the Concept masterplan for the Canberra Islamic Centre incorporated facilities that were to be accessible to the public, including a Sunday market, multi function halls and recreation spaces. a submission currently under consideration for a well-being centre at the Univeristy of Melbourne’s Veterinary College
