70F architecture

70F architecture is a growing office, combining the three major elements in design; architecture, interior design and design. The two partners have built up experience in all fields working in other offices and have started for themselves in 1999.

Bas ten Brinke was born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, in 1972 and got his diploma in architecture from the Technical University in Eindhoven in 1995.

Carina Nilsson was born in Lund, Sweden, in 1970 and got her degree in architecture from Chalmers Technical University, Gothenburg, in 1998. Before that she studied sculpture, drawing and jewellery making at Lawrence University, USA.

Chris Roche is an award winning architect, registered with ARB (Architects Registration Board) and a chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects. Chris is a former University Lecturer, and has taught at schools in London, Leeds, Manchester, and Brussels. Chris has represented RIBA London Region on RIBA Council (2002-2004) and 2008-date, Chris is a former Deputy Chair of RIBA London, and former Chair of RIBA Camden. The practice is active politically in the community, and Chris Roche is the RIBA advisor to Jeremy Corbyn MP. Chris is a former professional karate instructor, and amongst his current interests, lists collecting first editions; horology; and Manchester City FC.
