AV62 Arquitectos
Victoria Garriga (Barcelona 1969) and Toño Foraster (Bilbao 1968), studied at the School of Architecture of Barcelona, establishing his studio there in 1994 AV62 Arquitectos.
Contests awarded public facilities: Central Library St Boi de Llobregat, Rock Art Museum in Ribadesella Tito Bustillo, Archaeological Museum of Cerdanyola del Vallés, Library of Sant Pol de Mar, Balenciaga Getaria Museum, Maritime Museum, Children in School Sant Boi de Llobregat, Nursery School in Cerdanyola del Valles.
Mounts exhibitions of art, archeology, architecture and design. Of note is the production of "Toros" which was selected for the exhibition "scenographies d'Architectes" (Pavillon de l'Arsenal, Paris) as one of the top 100 mounts exhibition of the last 10 years at international level.
Have worked with the Fundación Miró, Tapies Foundation, CCCB, History Museum of the City of Barcelona, Reina Sofia Museum, Museo Picasso Malaga, Casa Asia, Museo de Bellas Artes de Bilbao, Fundación Balenciaga.
Several interior design projects have been selected finalists in the awards FAD.
The year 2009 won the National Award for Interior Architecture Saloni.
Selected by the magazine Arquitectura Viva n º 100 (2005) as one of the 24 studies they defined as young Spanish Next Generation.
Wallpaper magazine AV62 selected as one of the 101 most promising architecture teams in the international arena 2007.Han taught and lectured at various universities and institutions like UIC, ETSAB EINA, ELISAVA, IED, COAC.Han participated in two Conferences on Urban Rehabilitation of Historic Centres: PRICC (Baghdad), WOCMES (Barcelona) and were finalists in the Competition for the Rehabilitation of Khadimiya neighborhood in Baghdad.
