Tribe Studio
Sydney-based Tribe Studio designs beautiful houses, interiors, retail spaces, corporate spaces and public buildings. Each project is a considered and creative response to client needs and aspirations, the site and its environment. Environmental sustainability is seamlessly integrated into the design process.
The Tribe Studio team has experience in single houses, multi-unit residential, retail, commercial, urban design, entertainment, galleries and public infrastructure. Tribe Studio makes architecture. The studio is actively involved in furthering design excellence through conference presentations, exhibition installations, and design competitions. Their built work is widely published. Tribe Studio’s founder and principal is Hannah Tribe. Hannah studied architecture at Cornell and Sydney University graduating with First Class Honours and the University Medal. Her academic awards included: Royal Australian Institute of Architects NSW Chapter Prize, Arthur Baldwinson Memorial Prize in Architectural History and Theory, CHL Turner Memorial Prize in Architectural Design, George McRae Prize in Architectural Construction, James Hartley Bobby Memorial Scholarship in Architecture, Board of Architects of NSW Prize and the University of Sydney Honours Scholarship. Hannah has also taught architectural design at the University of Sydney, University of NSW and University of Technology, Sydney. She is also painter, exhibiting in Sydney.
