Javier Mariscal


1950 Born in Valencia. He published his first cartoon strip "El senor del Caballito" at the age of 19.
1971 He moved to Barcelona, studied at the Elisava School of Design and founded EL Rrollo Enmascarado.
1977 He captured the attention of the public through his exhibition at the Grand Hotel.
1988 His Cobi creation was selected as the mascot for the 1992 Olympic games.
1989 "100 years of Mariscal" exhibition.

In the nineties, he designed for Rosenthal, Alessi, Swatch and others.
Currently the Mariscal studio collaborates with Canal+ (Spain) in a cartoon project.
In 2000 Mariscal won the international competition for the Expo 2000 Hanover mascot
